Josh D. Shocklee Esq.

Josh is a double degree graduate of the University of Kentucky with a master’s degree in business management that earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University in 2007. Mr. Shocklee was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007 and the Federal Bar for the United States District Court Middle District of Florida in 2008.

Mr. Shocklee began his legal career as a law clerk working for Liberty Mutual insurance company in their in-house legal defense firm defending against injury victims’ claims. He soon realized that he was on the wrong side of the table. Since he began practicing law, he has exclusively represented injury victims and has litigated hundreds of State Court lawsuits representing Plaintiffs with issues involving automobile accidents, biking accidents, premises liability accidents (including slip and fall accidents and trip and fall accidents), dog bites, insurance coverage disputes, and wrongful death.

Outside of professional life, Josh is a family man with 3 kids and a loving wife. He can often be found down at the local ballpark cheering on his kids’ ball teams. He is a DIYer and car enthusiast that seems always to have a little paint or grease on him. He originally moved from Kentucky to Florida for the beaches and when he is not at a ball field you can usually find him there.
